Ingredients
1 gallon apple juice
1 gallon water
1 cup coarse salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ground black pepper
1/4 cup onion powder
Instructions
1) Mix all the ingredients together.
2) Place your meats and your brine mixture in a large, water tight container. Make sure the meat is submerged in the brine. If it isn't submerged, make more brine and add it to the container.
3) Let the meat brine overnight, the night before you smoke the meats.
